Terms of Service

Last updated 15 October 2026

Plain-language terms for using Querynza. Section 5 explains how your own AI provider keys are protected.

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of Querynza, a service for building website assistants (“bots”) that answer your visitors’ questions from your own content. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the organisation you represent.

2. Your account and workspace

  • Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us promptly about any unauthorised use.
  • You are responsible for what happens in your workspaces, including actions by teammates you invite.
  • You must give accurate information and be old enough to enter a contract where you live.

3. Your content and your website

You keep all rights in the content you add (website pages, documents, text) and in your visitors’ conversations. You allow us to store and process it only to provide the service to you, for example to read your website, index it, and answer questions from it.

You may only connect websites and content you own or are authorised to use, and only install a bot on websites you control.

4. AI-generated answers

Bots answer using AI models. Answers can be incomplete or wrong even when based on your content. Review your bot’s behaviour, keep your content current, and do not present answers as professional (for example medical, legal or financial) advice. You are responsible for how your bot is used on your website.

5. Your own AI provider keys

You may connect API keys from supported AI providers (for example OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, Groq, xAI Grok, OpenRouter, Mistral, DeepSeek and Together AI). Requests made by your bots with your key are sent to that provider under your account, and the provider bills you directly under its own terms and prices. Answers produced with your key do not use your plan’s AI credits; other plan limits (such as knowledge indexing and conversations) still apply.

How we protect your keys.

  • Keys added in the dashboard are encrypted in your browser, with the public key of our isolated AI service, before they are sent. Keys sent through our API are encrypted on arrival.
  • We store keys only in encrypted form. Each key is cryptographically bound to your workspace and cannot be used in any other workspace.
  • A key is decrypted only inside our isolated AI service, in memory, for the duration of a request to the provider you chose. Our web servers and database never hold it in readable form.
  • Keys are never displayed, logged, exported or returned by any screen or API — not to you after saving, not to your teammates and not to our staff. We show only the last four characters so you can recognise a key.

What our administrators can and cannot do. Our platform administrators cannot view your keys. They can disable or delete a key, for example after a security incident, a report of abuse, at your request, or where the law requires it. Each such action is recorded in our audit log, and we may notify you. Deleting a key erases its encrypted form, so it cannot be recovered by anyone.

No silent switching. If your key is rejected by the provider, disabled or deleted, bots set to use it stop answering. We never move them to platform-funded AI without your choice.

Your responsibilities. Use only keys you are authorised to use, follow your provider’s terms, set spending limits in your provider account, and replace or delete a key straight away if you think it is compromised. Your provider’s charges for requests your bots make with your key are between you and the provider.

6. Acceptable use

  • No unlawful, deceptive, harassing or harmful use, and no content that infringes others’ rights.
  • No attempts to break, overload or probe the service’s security, or to access other customers’ data.
  • No collection of sensitive personal data through your bot unless you have a lawful basis and tell your visitors.

7. Plans, AI credits and billing

  • Panel plans are for bots that use your own AI key. They renew automatically each month or year until you turn auto-renew off; the plan then stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Your AI provider bills you directly for its usage.
  • AI credits are prepaid and pay for answers from the AI models we offer. Each answer is charged from your credit at the model’s price shown in the app at the time of use. The price of credit includes our service fee.
  • AI credits do not expire. Credit stays in your workspace until it is used. When it runs out, bots on our models pause until you add more.
  • Customers in India pay in Indian rupees; everyone else pays in US dollars. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Cashfree Payments; we never see your full card details.
  • Free access or free credit we give you (for example a trial) can be changed or ended by us. Prices and included limits are shown before you pay.

8. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your workspaces. We may suspend or end access that breaks these terms or puts the service, our customers or others at risk, and we will tell you why where we reasonably can.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; for material changes we will give notice in the dashboard or by email before they take effect. Questions: our contact page. See also our Privacy Policy.
